Hardenbergstrasse with Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Berlin (c. 1910)

The Hardenbergstrasse (“Hardenberg street”, named after Karl August Fürst von Hardenberg (1750–1822), a Prussian statesman and Prime Minister) with the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in the background. The church was erected between 1891 and 1895 and – after being heavily damaged in World War II – it’s ruins serve as a war memorial today.
